Upstanding Contracting and Professional Painting and I are at Barbosa’s today hanging artwork as they just finished their remodel.

The Interior Shoppe helped select paint colors, tables, chairs and upholstery colors for their update. Sadly, they are closed today or we would be getting some tacos after 😜

A high end builder and developer of 40+ years and his wife called The Interior Shoppe a few years ago for a one hour consultation for some design advice in their kitchen.

We selected new backsplash tile, paint colors, hardware and gave some other design suggestions around their house.

They called me again a few months ago for their primary bathroom remodel. It really is such an honor to work on two, three+ projects for the same clients, especially such a profound builder and his beautiful wife.

They have a huge collection of antiques from their travels and so we wanted their new bathroom to incorporate their love of traditional pieces and compliment the rest of their home and this bathroom remodel is going to do just that 💙

Amanda stopped by Aura Furnishings today to check out their new showroom.

It was absolutely beautiful- you can find furniture including side chairs, sofas, console tables, side tables & more, art, pillows, faux flowers and dishes.

It’s absolutely beautiful! They purchased flooring from The Interior Shoppe for their back hallway and it meant the world to us whenever they reached out to partner together.

Should You have Tile or LVT in Your Bathroom?

LVT - Luxury Vinyl Tile is the same as Luxury Vinyl Plank - both are water resistant, click together, and scratch resistant!

1. Tile is more of an investment, but gives you more detail and design freedom especially with mosaic tiles.

2. LVT is easier to DIY and quicker to install since you don’t have to use mortar and grout.

3. LVT is less expensive and more budget-friendly.

4. LVT has a softer, warmer feel compared to tile.

5. Tile is fashion forward and adds more value to your home.

We have professional installers for both LVT and Tile, or you can purchase the product from The Interior Shoppe and DIY - or hire your own installer!
