Dear Elves Before I submit my application for this, I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. I didn’t know programs like this existed. I’m new-ish to Minnesota, and I’m a very new (and young) parent. To know that there are people out there who do care if my son has a present with his name on it on Christmas Day, means the absolute world to me. Just the sentiment alone. And even if my son isn’t chosen by anyone, I’m still thankful for what you all do. I know that I definitely never thought I’d ever be in a position where I’m forced to choose between groceries and utilities or celebrating Christmas at all. So, thank you for being here for those that need it. I hope you are able to help make Christmas a happy memory for a lot of families suffering through these times.
