Dwight Kitchen joins Energy Solutions International (ESI) Team

For the past 30 years we have quietly served our customers as a national lighting solution provider. We are supported by good people, with good intentions, always looking to do the right thing, here in Minnesota. We are taking our company to the next level with our continued passion for not just a glorified assembler like most in industry today but truly “American Made” only using high quality materials and innovative technologies in our products. Our ability to modify our product offering to match individual project needs and special applications is truly unique in our industry.

We are excited to move into 2022 with new strategic initiatives, committed to applying our entrepreneurial strategies and home-grown value proposition to the controls-minded Internet of Things (IoT) industry trends and unmatched custom and adaptation of existing platforms— the future will be organic, and very exciting! Please join me in welcoming Dwight Kitchen to the Energy Solutions International (ESI) Team. Dwight will begin his new position January 10, 2022, as the VP Sales & Marketing, North America. Dwight will report to Jay Barnett, President/CEO, with responsibilities for managing sales and marketing efforts that includes all sales channel strategic engagements.

Dwight will lead ESI’s regional managers and manage the ESI agent network. He will also hire new RSMs and agents to fit the strategic growth plans needs at ESI – providing a more structured and strategic collaboration around meeting the needs of the customer. Dwight will also drive 3rd party partnership connections for strategic market pe*******on and growth opportunities through direct engagements.

I am excited and proud to have Dwight apart of the ESI Team. With his drive and sense of urgency he is staged to make a difference!

Dwight comes to us with 37 years of experience in the lighting industry with various executive positions at Osram Sylvania and Sylvania Lighting Solutions. With more recent leadership positions at Traxon, Electrix and Elliptipar. He brings growth focused leadership experience which ties into ESI’s growth business plans for 2022 and beyond. Dwight’s collaborative business development philosophy will bring an added benefit to our leadership team’s strategic engagements, company growth, and messaging efforts.

At ESI, our goal is to make installations as easy and efficient as possible. For maximum efficiency, we create customized packaging, specially tailored to each job.

As you can see, we package the number of fixtures ordered by each segment of the project. For example, if we have an order from a school and each classroom requires 10 fixtures, we package in sets of 10. Our "Grab and Go" packaging helps save time and limits the amount of waste!
Not only does ESI create custom job site packing, we also adhere to any other special packaging or shipping requests you may have.

Energy Solutions International (ESI) is proud to announce Travis Laib as our new VP of Sales & Marketing.

Travis comes to us with 22 years of experience in the lighting industry, with a background in lighting controls. Throughout his career, Travis managed strategic business development efforts, built several sales networks, and led various project management initiatives. His extensive contacts across all channel segments and entrepreneurial way of thinking are two of his greatest attributes. Travis’s strong work ethic and leadership style will add great value to our company culture at ESI.

Travis will be responsible for managing our national sales and marketing efforts, including our new sales initiatives.
