How I knit colorwork with super bulky yarn - with both hands. I primarily knit English style, so I think teaching myself to knit continental was a little easier than if you were primarily a continental knitter learning English. The most important is that you just find a way that works for you!

Slow season…

Well, hats sales are slow but my productivity is not 😅 I might be quiet on here but behind the scenes, I’m…

• updating my website
• ordering yarn
• prepping hang tags and pom poms
• making stacks of hats and cowls!

It can be hard to be motivated during the slow time, but I know my future self will thank me! If you’re a maker, how do you utilize your slow season?

My parents taught me to take care of my things so they last longer 🙌 If you believe in fewer, better things (and taking care of them), you’re in the right place.

I like to wash all my hats, boots, and winter gear before storing it for the season. Need wool wash? I carry on my website! Dawn powerwash and a scrub brush work great on boots, then I’ll spray these with a leather protectant.
