💚 This project is all about the details, and we LOVE how everything came together! 🖤

This home in Ballwin, MO received a beautiful exterior makeover featuring Exterior Portfolio Dutch Lap siding in Spruce, an upgraded color from the Smart Styles Expressions palette.

To add even more character, the front-facing gable was finished in the same Spruce color using the Board & Batten profile, creating a beautiful contrast in texture.

But one of the biggest changes was swapping out the original white accents for black! The homeowner chose to carry that black finish throughout the entire exterior, including:

🖤 Brand-new black soffit and fascia
🖤 Beautifully finished black trim throughout
🖤 New black gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards
🖤 Updated gable vents with matching black details

Taking everything from white to black created a beautiful contrast against the new Spruce siding and existing brick. It's those consistent details that really make this exterior stand out!

We love a good before & after, and this one is a GREAT example of just how much an exterior can change the look of a home!

We recently finished this project here in St. Charles, MO, and we are extremely happy with how it turned out. The homeowners upgraded to Exterior Portfolio Dutch Lap siding in the color Nantucket, paired with all-new soffit, fascia, carport ceiling, shutters, gutters, and gutter guards.

We think that the Nantucket color they chose is so beautiful on their home. It completely freshened up the exterior and made such a difference!

Seeing the transformation from the original exterior to the finished project is one of our favorite parts of what we do, second only to seeing the happy smiles of our customers and knowing that they are happy with the transformation as well.

What do you think of the transformation? If you are ready to spruce up your home, give us a call or reach out through our website for a free, no-pressure estimate!

🏡 What a transformation!

We recently had the opportunity to give this home in St. Peters a complete exterior makeover, and we absolutely love how it turned out!

This project included all-new Exterior Portfolio dutch lap siding in the color Bone, soffit, fascia, trim, gutters, gutter guards, a new porch ceiling, and new shutters. There were a lot of details that went into this one, but seeing everything come together at the end made it all worth it.

We especially love the warmth of the Bone siding and how the new shutters and trim finish off the look. It gives the home such a clean, classic feel while also giving the exterior a fresh start for years to come.

As a family-owned business, we never take it for granted when someone chooses us to work on their home. These projects are a big investment for our customers, and we truly appreciate the trust they place in our family and our company.

✨ New roof. New look. Same trusted customer. ✨

We recently completed a brand-new architectural roof in St. Peters, MO, in the color Glacier for a longtime customer who has trusted Home Comfort Exteriors with multiple projects over the past five years. From roofing and siding to a new sliding patio door, we’re incredibly grateful to have been her go-to team for so many of her home improvement needs!

There’s no greater compliment than a customer choosing to come back to us again and again—and her recent 5-star Google review means even more:

"A family owned business that is trustworthy and I highly recommend. They replaced our old roof, siding and installed a new sliding door. The team was always on time, very polite, and worked hard every time they came out. Work completed was excellent and no complaints. The communication was clear from the start. Our house looks great, and they did a great job cleaning up all the debris when they finished."

Last year, we had the opportunity to install a new roof for this homeowner in St. Peters. This year, she invited us back to complete the rest of her exterior transformation, and seeing the finished result made all the hard work worth it.

This project included all new siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, shutters, columns, decorative window and door Fypons, and exterior trim. Every detail was chosen to give the home a fresh, updated appearance while providing the long-term protection every homeowner deserves.

One of our favorite parts of this job was watching everything come together. What started with a new roof has now become a complete exterior makeover that completely changed the look and feel of the home. Thank you for trusting our family business with your home! We have a quick homeowner poll for you. Please react to this post with the option that best applies to you. Do you know what soffit and fascia are and why they matter for your home?

❤ = Yes, I'm already familiar with what soffit and fascia are!
👍= This is new information to me, but I am excited to learn!

✨Soffit is located underneath your roof's overhang. It allows air to circulate through your attic, helping to reduce the heat and moisture build up. It also serves as a barrier that can help prevent unwanted pests, such as wasps and other insects, from nesting around your home.

✨Fascia is the board that runs along the roof edge and serves as the mounting surface for your gutters. It also supports the lower edge of the roof, protects the exposed ends of the roof rafters from the elements, and plays an important role in directing water away from your home. Wrapping the fascia in aluminum is highly recommended, as it protects the wood from moisture exposure, reducing the risk of rot, deterioration, and costly repairs over time.

Together, they work to protect your roof and maintain your home's exterior performance. If you ever have questions about your home's exterior, we're always happy to answer your questions and provide you with a free, no-pressure estimate.
