🇫🇷🎨 Une Semaine Magnifique! | Matisse by the Sea 🌊⛵

Bonjour from Jen’s Paint Cellar!
This week, our young artists traveled to the colorful world of French master Henri Matisse, where imagination sails freely and color knows no rules. Inspired by Matisse’s signature style of bold lines, simplified shapes, and unexpected color combinations, campers created acrylic seahorses & charming watercolor sailboats drifting across dreamy seaside skies and vibrant ocean-inspired masterpieces.

From pastel seas and playful sailboats & seahorses to laughter-filled studio moments worthy of a little French atelier, this week was overflowing with creativity and fun.

❤️ Red, White & Blue Crew – Mission #1 Complete! ❤️🇺🇸

What an incredible first night of our brand-new Red, White & Blue Crew program at Jen’s Paint Cellar! 🎨✨
These amazing young artists poured their hearts into every brushstroke as they created one-of-a-kind patriotic masterpieces for the heroes who serve our country. From colorful birds and stars to heartfelt designs full of creativity and kindness, each piece is as unique as the child who created it. ❤️🤍💙

But the artwork is only part of the gift! Each painting will be sent along with a personal message of encouragement and gratitude to veterans and active-duty service members both stateside and overseas. 🇺🇸📬

We are so proud of how hard these kiddos worked tonight. Their creativity, compassion, and generosity were on full display, and they are already making a difference through art.

🐦Summer Camp Week 1 Took Flight!☀️

What an incredible first week of summer camp at Jen’s Paint Cellar! Our young artists transformed simple materials into amazing 3-D papier-mâché birds in flight, each one bursting with personality, color, texture, and imagination!
From bright feathers and patterned wings to creative details and whimsical flowers, no two birds were alike-and that’s exactly what made
them so special.
Watching these talented artists dream, build, paint, and create has been such a joy. Their confidence soared right alongside their colorful feathered friends!♥️💙💛💜

🐦‍🔥🕊️Papier-Mâché Birds & Flowers🌸
Delight in a charming 3-D Papier-Mâché Bird & Flowers project that celebrates nature with texture, color, and creativity.

🐧A vibrant papier-mâché bird sculpture nestled among delicate tissue paper blossoms or a soft-feathered vibrant bird…each lesson invites imaginative exploration. Including a colorful lesson about wonderful birds in our backyard with book illustrations.

🛝☀️Pack a lunch and get ready for some FRESH AIR! We love daily walks to the playground for breaks and summer fun! Ages 6 & UP. $105 for the week. June 8th and 11th. 🌺Blooming Bright on a Gloomy Day!🌺
It may have been dreary outside, but inside the studio we had fun while experimenting with an ANALOGOUS color theory lesson…bursting with color and creativity!
💐Today’s kids art class brought
beautiful blooms to life as our young artists created gorgeous floral still life’s full of personality, pattern, and springtime cheer…who knew how cool a DRAGON FLOWER and HORSE FLOWER in RADIOACTIVE liquid could ACTUALLY be?!!?🙌🧐 🧪🐉 🐴

🎈UP, UP & AWAY with COLOR!🎈☝️
Our studio artists took creativity to new heights with these Hot Air Balloon Collage masterpieces! • We explored painting, printmaking, layering, collage, texture, and playful zentangle-inspired details to create colorful skies full of imagination.
From patterned landscapes to whimsical balloon characters, every piece was bursting with personality and BIG creative energy!
The pom-pom details, bright colors, and layered textures made each artwork one-of-a-kind - just like the artists who created them.
We LOVE seeing kids experiment, layer ideas, take creative risks, and turn simple shapes into magical masterpieces. What a FUN month of creating!

🎨Squishmallow Paint Party = PURE JOY 💕

What a SWEET day in the studio! From the moment the music started and the paints came out, it was all smiles, giggles, and creativity flowing ✨

We spent the day painting our adorable squishmallow-inspired masterpieces, designing the cutest beaded bracelets, and of course… plenty of playing and laughing with friends 💖

Our studio was filled with bright colors, big imaginations, and the coziest, happiest vibes. Days like this are what it’s all about — creating, connecting, and making memories together 🫶

Thank you to everyone who joined us — we loved every minute with you!
