I thought you might like an update after a long break. We finally finished emptying the store on Dec. 15, 2025. It was far more work than I’d hoped and in the process both Michael and ai ended up quite sick. But it is that time of the year for sharing. I hadn’t realized how incredibly exhausted I am. Still not quite back yet but getting there.

I enjoyed seeing my family on Christmas Eve for the first time in a very long time. I need a bit more time to recover from all the work but do have 3 classes scheduled Spectrum ArtWorx https://spectrumartworx.com/ in Monmouth, Oregon. It is a great new art and framing store near Western Oregon University. More info to come.

I’m still working at getting an email list together with hopes to send out Jan. 1 with a New Year’s greeting. I hope all of you had a good holiday and can’t wait to see you in the new year! Christy

Closed. The sign is not even on outside. I’ll be keeping my business license and teaching at other locations. So watch for information late December and early January. For now I’m packing g a taking a long needed vacation.

Sunday Nov. 24, 2025 is the last day my store will be open! It has been a fantastic 12 yr run and I’m very grateful for all of the beautiful people I’ve had the privilege to meet. So many new friends.

I will be teaching other places I. Oregon and will be creating a new email list for those who’d like to know what I am up to. I’ll be teaching in January and let you know more in December. Love you all! Christy

Last day Runaway Art & Craft Studio, LLC will be open as a store front is Nov. 23, 2025. It has been a great run of 12 yrs and I’m looking forward to teaching at other locations. Thanks everyone.

We continue to add dots to the inventory to lower prices everyday. Closed on Monday. We are selling fixtures and some cabinets and tall, black school lockers. Come check it all out. Christy

Well, we knew Edgar Allan Crow would be a problem over the next few months, but he’s been keeping a low profile until now — this morning he decided that it wasn’t enough that all the embossing powders in the store are already 25% off. He got into the yellow stickers and marked a whole bunch of them 60% off! And stuck them up by the front window so everyone knew before we could do anything about it!

So we will be letting these go for next to nothing.
