This little corner of our home feels like a sanctuary to me. 💛

The plants, evening light, tiny reflections from the disco ball (highly recommend getting one). The view outside. Even the cat scratcher. 😆 None of it is particularly fancy, but it makes me happy to be home and fills me with joy every time the sun begins to set and the plants are all aglow.

And I think that’s really what creating a sanctuary at home is about. It doesn’t have to look a certain way—it’s about creating a space that feels good to live in.

That idea is also a big part of why I love what I do. Being organized isn’t just about how your home looks—it’s about how it functions and feels. It’s making space for the things you love, creating systems that make everyday life a little easier, and creating a home that supports you and the way you actually live.

One item put away.

One drawer reset.

One habit repeated.

One of the biggest mindset shifts I've had over the years has nothing to do with organizing products or perfectly labeled bins.

It's simply asking myself:

"What would Future Me appreciate?"

Maybe it's taking the donation bag to the car.

Maybe it's putting something back where it belongs.

Maybe it's taking two minutes to reset one small space before bed.

Those little acts of kindness don't seem like much in the moment, but they make tomorrow feel a little lighter.

Recently, Nichole and I worked with a client who was preparing to sell his home.

He had a lot on his plate—repairs to manage, decisions to make, and years of belongings to sort through. Then an unexpected issue at the house added even more stress.

Over two days, we helped him declutter, make decisions about what to keep, pack items for storage, and prepare the home for listing.

By the end, he wasn't just left with a more organized home—he had a clear path forward.
Helping people through overwhelming transitions is one of my favorite parts of this work.
