Just finished! Done in time for Salem Art Fest this weekend. I've got four new goddesses and a hand full of new antique baby doll lamps all coming for set up on Saturday.

The perils of setting up back to back weekends with completely different set up bases... I forgot my inverters that I use to turn my lamps on 😢

At Brimfield I pay for electricity all week, at most street shows I bring car batteries and inverters to pull power from. The batteries got packed in the swap over, the inverters are sitting right by the door in the workshop so I "don't forget to grab them"

Brimfield flea market day one. Lights are on and ready to go.
This is your best chance to get a look at this many of my lamps in one place. I don't even have this much space in my workshop to display them all. I'm set up in Shelton field space f25 for the next 6 days.

I haven't made a phone lamp in a while, this one found me at the flea market so I figured I'd get it done in time for the on Saturday.

Traditionally a lamp casts light and sets moods, but she is the light, and she is the mood.
Often I add the drips to add some extra dramatic flair to my lamps, an unknown, unplanned, unrepeatable pattern guided by gravity and contour, but the colorshifting paint demanded to be the focal pointand so I made sure to keep the drips controlled and off the face. Now the drama lies in the subtle shifting stillness with the drip lurking at the edge waiting to crawl closer to the surface.
