I found the love of crochet about six years ago after my sister, Kealy, showed me some of the basics. Crocheting is my time to decompress and relax after a long day. I started off making hats and sweaters from patterns I found in books and online. One day while working a bag pattern, something in me just ignited and I started to create my own designs. I have a fondness for bags and hats, but inspi
ration strikes for all kinds of crochet projects. My hope is to provide patterns that are easy to understand and to provide tools to help even beginner crocheters work on more advanced patterns with confidence. I strive to provide accurate and clearly written patterns. Now to the one burning question you have...what's up with the name of our shop. In addition to a love of crochet, my family and I, have a love of sasquatch aka bigfoot aka yeti!! We spend a tremendous amount of time camping at our northern lower Michigan property that we have dubbed "Sasquatch Sanctuary". It was while camping there, one summer day in 2021, sitting around the campfire I started talking with my family about starting a business selling some of the designs I had been working on. It was a great conversation full of hopes and dreams of the possibilities. It was during that conversation that the name "Sasquatch Creations" was coined.
