Hey friends! 👋 It’s been almost two years since I last posted here, and I’ve decided it’s time for a little shift.
Motherhood is where my heart (and time!) is these days, so I’ll no longer be taking on interior design clients. Instead, this space will become a cozy little corner for sharing things I love — tips, tricks, inspiration, and whatever brings me joy.
Mostly just for fun. 😊

Would you believe me if I told you this was the SAME living room?! Swipe to see the before🫣 I wanted this room to have more natural light, so we added two windows to either side of the fireplace AND got new window treatments. We also went with a much brighter paint, and warmed up the space with light hardwood flooring. I am obsessed with the finished product. Let me know if you have any questions!!

Let’s talk SHELF STYLING ✨

Styling your shelves can be one of the longest & most frustrating processes when it comes to decorating your home. Here are some simple tips I have to make the process easier for you!

#1- START WITH A BLANK SLATE
yes, this may seem obvious, but I have seen a lot of people try to style their shelves with stuff on them!! Take it all off so you have a blank space to begin.

#2- IT’S ALL ABOUT BALANCE
While you’re styling, notice the symmetry of your shelves. Is one shelf way more crowded than another? Always be mindful of this while styling. Pro tip: odd numbers look best grouped together!

#3- LAYER LAYER LAYER
Layer the frames, books, plants, it’s all about layering. Taller items in the back, shorter in the front.

One of my favorite ways to bring warmth & life into a space is by adding greenery!! I obviously love fresh plants the most but if you’re like me & fail to keep any plant alive, faux plants are the way to go!!
My favorite places to get faux plants are West Elm or Joann’s. They look the most real! Comment below if you have a favorite place to get faux plants & branches👇

One of my biggest tips for people when they are designing a pantry is to make sure there is storage that is CLOSED OFF. Behind these cabinets are some of those not-so-pretty items (toaster, waffle maker, crock pot, etc). I’ve seen multiple pantries with only open shelving and although that may sound like a good idea, I promise you that it’s not. If you can help it, try to make sure you have places you can hide things that aren’t pretty to display!!

This rings true for me in my life. I always try to be intentional with what I bring into my life. To me, less is more. Everything serves a purpose, even if that purpose is just to make you happy. When you work with me, I always try to remind you that less is more 🤍 happy Monday!!

Swipe to the left to see the before of this amazing laundry room transformation! I’ve shared a reel of this room before, but I’ve been DYING to share these photos.
To give this room the love it deserved, we repainted the existing cabinets, added a butcher block over the top for more folding space, replaced the tile, & added a beautiful matte black sink!!! I love bringing new life to an existing space, and this laundry room was no exception! Follow along for more beautiful transformations✨
