Happy New Year, friends! To say I’m thrilled to leave 2023 behind is the understatement of the century. Last year marked one of the most challenging years that my family and I have faced. And even though we’re still kind of in the midst of it, I have hope that 2024 will be a happier, healthier year for us.
I needed to hit the pause button on That Retro Glow to figure out where it fits within the other demands of my life. While I don’t intend to step away from my business, I am going to be much more intentional with the time I devote to it this year. This will likely result in fewer markets and less activity on the socials (although, let’s be honest, I’ve basically been MIA here the past few months! 🤪)
On the bright side, I have recently received some amazing freelance opportunities that pertain to my prior career as a communications professional. I thought I wanted to close the door on that part of my life, but it turns out I’m loving it. Plus, it’s helping me keep my hard-fought skills nice and sharp! I’m excited to see where this new venture leads me.
I want to thank everyone who has checked in on me and offered support. I do not take for granted the people who follow That Retro Glow and take time to learn about what I do. I appreciate you!
Before I go, I mustn’t forget to plug my next market! Check out the Valentine Market from Jan. 30-Feb. 3. This is the perfect spot to find unique local gifts for the loves in your life. 💗
PS: Thanks to my mom for gifting me the gorgeous snowflakes in the picture. I have loved looking at them while watching the actual snow fall outside. ❄️
