Both are great options. The difference comes down to what you're prioritizing in each space. Casement windows open outward with a crank, maximize airflow, and create a tighter seal - making them ideal for energy efficiency and hard to reach spots like above a kitchen sink. Double hung windows offer more flexibility, are easy to clean from inside your home, and suit traditional architecture beautifully.⁠
