Design South Flooring & Interiors is looking for a Labor Assistant. We are looking for someone with experience in construction, reliable transportation and high work ethic. Install experience is valued but not required.

On site training will be provided to the candidate. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Assemble products
- Proper measurement reading
- Proper installation techniques
- Operating power tools
- Critical thinking
- Communication
- Maintain a clean & organized environment

The right person will be self motivated and detail oriented. Experience in flooring and/or sales is not required but highly valued.

If you do not have experience in flooring and/or sales but have a passion for either, WE WILL TEACH YOU WHERE NEEDED!

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Identifying customer needs
- Providing appropriate solutions
- Organizing labor with coworkers
- Proper project estimation
- Collaborating with coworkers and homebuilders
- Solely handling projects from start to finish
- Maintaining a student’s mentality

• Organizing warehouse inventory
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Driving a forklift

• Learning the ins and outs of the flooring business
• Operating inventory software
