About the Name
In honor of my Father, Carlos Cuauhtemoc, we decided to name our business after him. He crossed over in August 2020 while fighting pancreatic cancer.
Cuauhtemoc, which means one whole descends like an eagle, was the last emperor of the Mexica (Aztec) people. Cuauhtemoc and his associates were tortured by placing oil on their hands and feet then placing them in the fire. The Spaniard's goal for this was to discover the hidden gold. However, Cuauhtemoc and his associates died instead with the secret. To this day no one has ever found the hidden gold.
Hello Everyone!
My husband(Bill) and I(Karla) own our own luxury candle business. We are a Veteran and Indigenous-owned. We will be partnering with Veteran/ Indigenous/ Cancer organizations in specific months. In those months we will be giving 10% of our proceeds to those organizations. Please stay tuned to find out which organizations we work with.
