It's the age-old question (what's the right number of candles for maximum scent throw?) ...the truth is it's hard to say. A few factors will impact how many candles you need. What size is your candle? How big is your space? Are we talking a small bathroom or a large living/dining combo? For larger open rooms it's recommended to light 3 to 4 large sized candles and place them in strategic locations throughout your home. For example, start in the entry way, add one in the kitchen, dining and living room space - you'll thank me later! If it's a small bathroom, one medium to large candle will do just fine. You should be able to smell your candle when you are approximately 3 to 5 feet away from it. Happy candle burning friends!
