Have you experienced cracking in wooden cutting boards or spoons due to dehydration? I have. To resolve this issue, I developed a semi-hard wax blend of beeswax, coconut oil, and grape seed oil. This wax conditions the wood, providing moisture resistance and ease of cleaning with mild soap and water. The beeswax also offers natural antimicrobial properties. To apply, wash and dry the wood piece thoroughly, then heat it in a low-temperature oven (170F-180F). Apply a small amount of wax and rub it in until the surface is coated. Heat the wood again and use a clean cloth to buff off the excess wax. I offer half-pint jars for $15 in space G2 at Alamo Craft Company in San Antonio, and this product is suitable for use on other wooden items as well. Alamo Craft Company
