Some fresh Fall inspired pottery for y’all. Even though Autumn doesn’t start for a few more weeks, I’m ready now. Desperately seeking cooler temps and toasty cups of tea and cocoa. This little batch of pots was just dropped off at Coffee | Tea | Ceramics art shop. I hope you’ll stop by and check them out. Happy Sunday peeps.

I went to the Clay Social The Clay Department today and dropped one of my strawberry mugs in the blind Mug Swap! It was fun seeing some of my pottery friends and making new ones. Lauren Matney (LTM) got my mug and she loves it! It makes me happy to see my artwork out into the world. Happy weekend everyone!

I’m working on my Artist Trading Cards for the Great Pottery Artist Trading Card Swap of 2026 hosted by Kelli Nina Perkins | Pottery Inspiration Thanks Kelli!!!! I just finished illustrating and carving these late last night. Let me know what you think please!

I hand cut reusable tyvek stencils from my own hand drawn illustrations. I lay down underglaze, stencil and wipe away the negative spaces. I go back in where needed and hand paint more embellishments and lastly, I carve out more fine details. These pieces will go through two kiln firings and the final firing goes to 2200 degrees F.

This fairy house was custom built for a forest fairy. It will be situated at the base of an ancient and majestic old oak tree deep in the forest. Adorned with wildflowers, mushrooms, dragonflies and butterflies and a magical enchantment to protect it from wild predators and humans alike. I think the fairy will be quite pleased! But first this creation must go through two kiln firings and some glaze magic.

I just finished crafting this wee fairy house after several blissful hours of refining and adding bits and pieces to the design. I’m happy with it! This fun project began at the “Fairy House Workshop” put on by San Antonio Potters Guild
taught by Chelsea Moon and hosted at the studio space at Throwin' Gold Studios . This workshop will be repeated in February 2027
