We’re super excited to let you know that we’ve got a Flea Market happening for y’all on Sunday, 3/9 from 8-2! Once again, our friends are letting us use their glorious lot at 2715 N St Mary’s to host an outstanding roster of finders who will be bringing you the freshest finds! Furniture, clothing, books, textiles, decor, plants, vinyl and so much more!!! And the day will be even better because will be providing the soundtrack with his superb taste in music.

Hello, friends!

I have some heavy news to share with you. I have decided that I will not be renewing the lease for Chica Verde’s current home. It may seem like a doom and gloom type message, but for me the word that best describes the mood is bittersweet.

Please know that I feel so fortunate to have spent the last nine years in two super cute locations getting to know so many beautiful customers who have become friends and some who are like family. I am eternally grateful for the love, support and enthusiasm you have always shown Chica Verde.

It’s not the end – just a pause, a reset.

My very near future plans include continuing my education. I’m totally over the whole “I have a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks” line I have been using for far too long!

Natalie of is building a brand new Chica Verde website that will be our new home until we make our next move. We will also keep putting on our fabulous flea markets and host a couple of super cool shopping events here and there. We do have plans for another brick and mortar a little further down the road. And if you loved Chica Verde – just you wait – I am confident the new concept will blow your mind.

We will continue adding fresh finds and restocking your favorites up until our last day of business, which will be Saturday, April 12. (we should make that day an instore dance and cocktail party, just saying)

I really love and appreciate you in so many ways.

Hello, friends! Just wanted to give y’all a heads up on our hours for the Holidays. We’ll be open 12/23 from 11-6 and 12/24 from 11-3. We’re going to take a break from 12/25 through 1/2/25 to spend time with loved ones and to RESET! Also, the love and appreciation I have for you and your support of Chica Verde is immense! ❤️ 🙏 🌟 🎉

Hello! It’s me, Val ! I wanted to use this selfie to create positive algorithms on the socials. I hope you’ll think of our little shop as you purchase gifts for those you love, want to love, or appreciate. We have restocked and there are so many great things available for gifting. Also, I used both of these photos because some days it just feels good to not shower and wear things you might have slept in the night before and other days a shower and lipstick make you feel like you’re maybe alive.
