Made the short trip out to Stetson Helotes for their Rib & Chicken Cook-Off. The new chicken recipe was delicious, and I honestly hadn’t been this satisfied with my ribs in a while. I’m happy to say I finally feel like I’m getting back on track with the protein that made me fall in love with competition BBQ.

This cook-off was a great one and stacked with some Greats teams out of San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Once the smoke settled, I was blessed to walk with 8th Place Ribs. Unfortunately, my chicken never flew the coop, and that’s okay ! On to the next!!
