Fall is finding its way onto our mood boards! 🍂

This season, we’re especially drawn to Oxblood tones. We love the deep, saturated red that feels equal parts sophisticated and unexpected. Paired with warm woods, rich textures, aged finishes, and collected details, it’s a color that instantly adds depth and soul to a space.

We’re pulling inspiration from the season, playing with palettes, and finding new ways to weave these richer tones into projects to come! ✨

Why We Chose It: The Rug Edit ✨

We like to think of rugs as art for the floor, an opportunity to introduce color, pattern, texture, and personality from the ground up.

For our new Olmos Park project, the right rug does more than anchor the room. It helps tell the story of the space, creating a foundation for every layer that follows.

Sometimes the best transformations aren’t about starting over, they’re about seeing what’s already there a little differently. ✨

For my own kitchen, the bones were good, but the details were ready for a new chapter. I traded reflective finishes for the warmth and texture, replaced the backsplash, introduced aged brass, antique chandelier from Belgium, and brought in a playful patterned Roman shade to give the room that collected, layered feeling I love.

Some details were simply too good to change, like the character of the original cabinetry and that beautiful butcher-block island that has always grounded the space.

Smart design is about discernment and knowing what to keep, what to rethink, and which details will change everything.

Savannah, through a designer’s eye. ✨

One of my favorite parts of traveling is coming home with a camera roll full of details I can’t stop thinking about, and Savannah certainly delivered.

For me, travel is one of the best ways to reset the creative eye. You notice new combinations, rethink old ideas, and inevitably bring a little inspiration home with you.

One of my favorite parts of traveling is coming home with a camera roll full of details I can’t stop thinking about, and Savannah certainly delivered.

Savannah has such a distinct design language. Rich woodwork paired with unexpected color, statement lighting, beautifully worn materials, pattern play, rooms that aren’t afraid to have a little drama, and antiques that remind you why a space should feel collected over time.

For me, travel is one of the best ways to reset the creative eye. You notice new combinations, rethink old ideas, and inevitably bring a little inspiration home with you.
