Reno bound 💡✈️

Our Lighting Design Lead, Electrical Project Coordinator, and electricians are at the Elemental LED Inc. factory this week, getting hands-on with the latest products, technology, and applications.

And yes… they’ve somehow managed to escape the San Diego heat for cooler temperatures in Reno. We didn’t see that one coming 😂

Always learning, always bringing more knowledge back to the projects we design and install.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this week for our CEU, “Human Centric Lighting for Today’s Luxury Home,” hosted at the LIGHTWORKS showroom.

The session explored how quality light, natural light, and personalized control can work together to support comfort, well-being, and the way clients experience their homes.

The kitchen is one of the most layered spaces in the home, and lighting plays a major role in how it feels.

Integrated lighting can bring out the warmth of cabinetry, define stone and architectural details, and create a softer atmosphere as the day moves into evening.

We approach kitchen lighting as part of the overall design, with each layer considered for both function and visual impact.

Troy, Debbie, Glen and Suzanne had a great time at The Guild Integrators Alliance Summit in Bozeman, Montana, this week!

It was a fantastic opportunity to come together, discuss new initiatives, spend time with fellow members and vendor partners, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and everything Bozeman and Big Sky have to offer.

A special thank you to Liz Birch for organizing such a great event, to all the vendor partners who supported the Summit, and to SAV Inc. for welcoming us and giving us a behind-the-scenes look at your fantastic operations in Bozeman and Big Sky.

A great few days of connection, collaboration and inspiration. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Today our office and field teams came together for lunch, a chance to connect, and some exciting company announcements.

We shared the next chapter for LIGHTWORKS, with Glen Keoghan stepping into the role of CEO and Andre Douzdjian as CFO, while our Founder, Troy Dunnington, moves into the role of President, continuing to focus on relationships, vision, and the future of LIGHTWORKS.

We were also proud to recognize Tony Scott, one of our Lead Journeyman Electricians, with our very first LIGHTWORKS Legend Award, celebrating his contribution and commitment to the company.

Our team came back from CEDIA 2026 with plenty to talk about, especially in lighting, shading, and smart home technology.

A few things that caught our attention included new lighting from Lutron, advances in smart home control from Crestron, and new approaches to fabrics, drapery, and concealed shading from Crestron, Lutron Electronics, and Savant Home.

It was a great opportunity to connect with our technology partners, learn more about what they’re working on, and see the latest innovations in our industry.
