Thankful for every person who helped shape By The Sea into what it is, and just as thankful for the people who get to walk through it now and bring it to life.
A space isn’t really finished until it’s full of them.

Over the years we’ve gotten close with the client’s team, so there’s something bittersweet about this project wrapping up. Guess we’ll just have to start another one together soon. Wink wink. 😉

And the branding? Another passion filled addition to this project, poured into every detail. Wait till we show you what we came up with.

On Tuesday, By The Sea opened its doors for opening night, and after three years of working on this project, it feels pretty surreal to finally see it come to life.

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the team as interior and branding designers. There were so many creative hands involved in bringing this project together, from the client’s clear vision to the countless ideas, talents, and support from everyone involved.

What came out of all of that collaboration is truly a gift to Coronado, and we’re so proud to have helped bring this baby home.

Recently nominated for a People’s Choice Orchid
Award 🌸

This project included a large outdoor patio designed to feel like the complete opposite of the sterile lab environment inside. A colorful mural, bold patterns, playful pillows, and plenty of’ greenery transform the space into a place to slow down, enjoy lunch, and get away from the workday.

A throwback to Lupe's Mexican Eatery Mexican Eatery — a modern take on Baja-inspired Mexican dining.

Blending vibrant coastal influences with a refined contemporary approach, Lupe's Mexican Eatery was designed around a streamlined layout, durable materials, acoustic wood-slat ceilings, and site-specific details that create a welcoming experience from business lunches to evening gatherings.

A space designed to capture the energy of Baja culture while building a memorable and scalable brand experience.

Welding is where raw material starts to become something more. Our fabrication team uses skill, experience, and a little bit of heat to transform steel into custom architectural elements, furniture, and one of a kind pieces.

Designing. Building. Celebrating. 🌈

Tecture was back at San Diego Pride with our second Pride Parade float, and the energy was absolutely incredible.

It was amazing to celebrate alongside our team, friends, families, and everyone who came out to support.
Pride is about community, inclusion, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen and we’re proud to stand behind those values both in our work and beyond it.

A huge shoutout to Ms. Jackson for bringing the energy, the soundtrack, and helping make the day unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped make this year’s parade one to remember.
