Each year, my church gives a quilt to the kids who have graduating from high school. This is one of them that I made this year. I call it the life of Jesus. The first panel (top left) is Mary holding the baby Jesus. The second panel is Jesus as he preaches (top right), the third panel is with Jesus, The Alpha and Omega (left, center) and the bottom right is Jesus' hand on the cross. The colors surrounding the quilt are random (aka scraps) from my batik stash.
The quilts are backed in white fabric and church members are encouraged to write messages or scripture to the senior.
On the panels, the square boxes around the faces do not appear. I just don't know how to make them go away in these pictures.
