💻 Honored to be part of StreetCode's Fall 2023 Cohort! 💻
There's a lot going on with planning for the Small Business Ball 🎉 and working on several different projects so it's time to fill you in. ⛽️
I'm excited to be part of StreetCode's accelerator program, now entering Week 3‼️ I first heard about through an email newsletter from . If you are a small business owner, whether new or old, check out Renaissance! 💡💡💡 They're a local nonprofit here in the Bay and they offer a lot of support to small business owners, to say the least. Check them out ASAP‼️
As for StreetCode, they are a nonprofit based out of East Palo Alto. They bridge the digital divide empowering communities of color ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 to achieve their full potential by sharing the mindset, skills, and access they need to embrace tech and innovation. 🙌🏽
I applied to the Accelerator program last month, was interviewed, and accepted. The Accelerator is a 3-month long program to help entrepreneurs achieve targeted milestones and pitch our startups to top investors for an opportunity at non-dilutive funding. Hence, my application 😬😬😬 Last week, along with a group of StreetCode participants, we had the opportunity to engage with some Nike executives👟 and that, in itself, was an insightful and memorable experience. 👌🏽
