Studio Alexander designs boutique hospitality and commercial projects with a discerning eye for branding, art direction and atmospheric quality. Our design for this sandwich shop brand was inspired by a retro gymnasium - plywood walls, rubber tile flooring, and electric colors for custom banquette seating.

Similar to our residential projects; we work closely with clients to ensure their space reflects the brand and lifestyle of their target market.

The treehouse at our Cape Cod project - we are starting to develop this space as phase II of the overall project. We led the downstairs with a lighter & airy atmosphere of teals, pale yellows and deep walnuts. Upstairs we wanted to create a playful and relaxed space for our client to work, watch TV and even host guests with the tête-à-tête trundle beds.

A palette of ochre, deep sage, cream, navy and dark cork are enveloping and organic, a place for both adults and kids alike. A custom checkerboard runner will lead you upstairs to a treehouse like lounge. A custom designed closet with screened doors flanks the opening to the bathroom for additional storage.

A corner we could spend forever in. our window nook design took a previously empty space and made it a functional feature of the room. The stone shelving niche was previously the bathroom door - which we saw as an opportunity for an integrated stone niche detail. With views onto the bay, this corner is now a prized possession of the room.

A quiet moment at our Cape Cod bungalow project. We redefined a dated fireplace by shaping the existing opening into a soft arch, adding locally sourced wood posts to add natural texture and handmade tiles in a custom pattern to give a sense of scale to the room.

As we enter our third year as a studio, I have been reflecting on how we got here and the many opportunities I’ve had to learn, grow and develop. From my time at NICOLEHOLLIS, to working with the Wiseman Group and Brad Krefman Interiors - I gained invaluable knowledge on how to interact with clients, contractors and vendors. My deep understanding of the many players in successful projects and how to communicate with the varying parties was learned through over a dozen projects in my 11 years in the industry to today.

As a studio, we’ve grown - our work and processes have continued to show that we are a strong team in this industry. As a small firm, we’re standing out amongst industry leaders for being honest, hard working and reliable assets to high end residential and boutique hospitality projects.

Our goal is to produce meaningful work, while creating an excellent experience for our clients, contractors, architects and vendor colleagues. A beautiful project is only successful in our eyes if the team is also the best it can be. Relationships and honesty are how I learned to lead my business and projects. It’s the most important aspect of design - integrity.

We are proud to be a part of this community and excited for what’s to come.
