Learn about and try out these incredibly pigmented and fun oil-based paint sticks and drawing oils!

Join us at ARCH this Saturday for a free R&F demo with artist Sharon Paster Sharon Paster 1-2:30pm. It's free! Seating will be first come, first served.

This Pigment Stick and Drawing Oils demonstration offers a relaxed environment where participants can see and experience Pigment Sticks.

Topics covered include: how R&F Pigment Sticks allow artists to explore traditional and alternative methods of painting with oil by allowing them draw or paint directly onto a surface with immediacy and fluidity; what Pigment Sticks are (pigment, wax and linseed oil); health and safety when working with Pigment Sticks (including proper disposal of oil soaked rags and paper towels); appropriate supports and tools; transparent vs. opaque Pigment Sticks; building a surface, monoprinting, image transfer, and mark making; and additional techniques (the use of cold wax, Gelli plates, etc.).

Join us AFTER HOURS at ARCH Art Supplies!

This event takes place IN PERSON on Thursday August 20, 2026, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Sign up at the link in our bio!

Enjoy a cozy hangout at ARCH After Hours with zine-obsessed ARCH employees. Bring collage materials, drawing tools, and zine projects, or just make friends and share supplies and inspiration.

Think “Night at the Museum” but at the art supply store; the paints will come alive and the sketchbooks may bite. Well, not really, but it is a chance to hang out with your favorite ARCHie and make art in a chill, uninstructed, communal setting.

We also encourage you to bring your own art supplies and a project to work on, or follow our prompt and experiment with samples of our various art materials. Hang out and enjoy a community of artists making together.

Entranced by linocut printmaking, but find it intimidating? Join illustrator Reese Dallas Bice to learn the fundamentals of relief printing for absolute beginners! Reese will break down everything you need to know to start printing, including beginner-friendly techniques and design principles. Students will use small soft-cut blocks, which are gentle on the wrists and easy to print with.

All materials are included in this one day workshop, and attendees will leave with a run of prints of their own design and their hand carved block that they can print again and again.
