With a passion for beautiful objects, antiques, materials and colors, Allison Caccoma’s interiors exude sophistication and elegance, yet maintain a comfortable and timeless quality. Having started her professional career in finance on Wall Street, Allison, a native New Yorker, later received a degree from the New York School of Interior Design. Classically and creatively trained under the tutelage
of legendary designers Bunny Williams and Jeffrey Bilhuber in New York, Allison moved to San Francisco with her husband in 2011. Allison’s work has been featured in publications such as House Beautiful, The Wall Street Journal Weekend Edition, At Home Magazine, Modern Luxury Interiors, SF Chronicle/Habitat, The Boston Globe, Design New England and New England Home. She has also participated in the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, Sotheby’s Designer Showhouse, San Francisco Fall Art and Antique Show Designer Vignettes, and the Southport Congregational Church’s ‘Rooms with a View’ Showhouse. Allison is a member of the Board of Directors of the Northern California Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, a member of the New York based Decorators Club, and is also on the New York School of Interior Design Alumni Council. In 2017, Allison opened Decoration, a colorful interior design boutique in San Francisco’s Presidio Heights neighborhood. A mix of antiques and vintage pieces are carefully curated with collections by John Rosselli International, Bunny Williams Home, and Christopher Spitzmiller. Decoration also specializes in handmade items by artists and artisans. Decoration is the first of its kind to grace the Bay Area and is a visual treat of timeless design.Named as one of House Beautiful magazine’s 2020 ‘Best Home Stores in America’, Decoration is a true example of Allison’s layered approach to decorating which awarded her the nod as ‘Best Mix Master’.The mix of old and new is a classical perspective with a modern point of view and suitable for all!
