Game-Changer Chess Set - Designed by artist Man Ray originally in 1920, the geometric chess pieces complete the classic board on this beautiful recreation. The design was inspired by Man Ray’s lifelong friendship with avid chess player and fellow artist Marcel Duchamp. This re-edition of the 1920s Wooden Chess Set is based on the original 1920 Man Ray Wooden Chess Set in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was the inspiration for a larger silver version in the MoMA collection.

Beijing studio Vector Architects built the aptly named Seashore Library - a concrete library on a deserted beach facing the East China Sea. The walls are imprinted with the grain of their timber formwork, influenced by the rippled markings left behind on the sand by the wind and water.
