Match Announcement: In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, glassybaby, will match the first $10,000 raised today for long-time partners, The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, Honoring Andrew. Founded by three-time lung cancer survivor, Lee Rhodes, each glassybaby purchase creates impact, and provides support for families across the country. Since the inception of our partnership, glassybaby, has donated over $500,000 to The B+ Foundation’s Family Assistance Program to provide financial support to families of kids fighting cancer.

Every glassybaby votive is handmade, glassblown in Seattle or Livingston, MT, and is more than a vessel of light, but one of deeper sentiment. Cheers to the Hendricksons! A few weeks ago, their loving Aunt and Uncle came in to pick out a set to match their wedding colors so they could have a memento of their wedding day to look back upon, and light for the mundane days and special days. They mentioned they were taking this thoughtful gift all the way to Minnesota, and it was tradition to gift all of their nieces and nephews a glassybaby set to glow in their chosen colors, a piece of their love to celebrate their family’s new love.

After careful consideration between a lighter and darker ‘xo’, ‘frog hunting’ and ‘horoscope’, they went with the latter two. May their colors glow as warm as their love in their new chapter.
