This Mill Valley lounge was made for entertaining. Bottles stack against antiqued mirror while a wood ceiling and green pendants warm things up. A sofa and a seriously soft sheepskin chair create a highly inviting vibe. Steel doors slide open to the terrace to let the California air in.

One of my favorite stops in Istanbul is the Mehmet Cetinkaya Gallery. I spent the morning with Said Cetinkaya, whose family has been sourcing incredible textiles along the Silk Road for generations — western China, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Anatolia and more. The quality and knowledge of every piece is second to none. Highly recommend if you're ever here.
