Okay, so give me a new caption for that one.
There is something wonderfully unexpected about the Oaxaca Ottoman.

Its natural fiber comes from agave byproducts left after the juice is extracted, paired with leather rope and an upholstered seat. Rooted in the heritage and craft of Oaxaca, it turns an everyday material into something sculptural, tactile, and entirely surprising.

The design community gathered around a collection born from creative freedom. Five designers. One of a kind works. Very different responses to an open brief, brought together through the collaboration between Jiun Ho x LALA CURIO | Artisan Wallpaper

And after the panel, the conversation continued.

Friends, designers, and guests shared what drew them to the collection, what they connect with in Jiun Ho’s work, and why these pieces stayed with them.

A beautiful moment for Unbound: Visions.

named the collection among The Best Debuts from What’s New, What’s Next, featuring Jamie Drake’s one of a kind Paravent cabinet. Hand painted and created as part of the limited edition collaboration with , the piece captures what Unbound was always meant to invite: a singular idea, given the freedom to become something entirely its own.

Unbound: Visions.

What began as an open brief became an evening of very different ideas meeting under one roof at JH | NY New York Design Center

For WNWN 2026, the design community experienced the limited edition collection created in collaboration LALA CURIO | Artisan Wallpaper up close, discovering one of a kind works by Jamie Drake , Nicole Fuller , James Hunter of The Wiseman Group , Francis Nicdao Pembrooke & Ives , and Jiun Ho.

Each piece carried its own point of view, but together they told a larger story about instinct, material, and what can happen when creative freedom is left truly open.

Margaret Russell brought the designers into conversation, giving the evening another layer beyond the objects themselves. The inspirations, the unexpected turns, and the stories behind how each piece came to be.

A night for looking closer, asking questions, and seeing Unbound: Visions as it was meant to be experienced.
