In focus on our inspiration board today: Eileen Gray’s furniture, defined by a thoughtful dialogue between form, material, and function.

Working across furniture, interiors, and architecture, Gray developed a distinctly modern approach rooted in experimentation and everyday living. Her furniture, in particular, challenged convention through refined proportions, unexpected materials, and adaptable forms. Working with tubular steel, lacquer, leather, wood, and glass, she created pieces that were as functional as they were visually distinctive.

From adjustable tables to sculptural seating, her designs were conceived around movement, comfort, and everyday use. Nearly a century later, they continue to feel strikingly relevant, reminding us that truly considered design transcends time.

Inspiration begins with curiosity, and this week, ours takes us to Valencia!

Daniel Ramirez is representing RoseBernard Studio at Feria Hábitat València 2026 in Spain, taking in the materials, ideas, and conversations shaping design’s next chapter.

Through his eyes, there’s a refreshing warmth to what’s emerging: woven fibers, wood, stone, richly textured surfaces, and earthy shades of terracotta and deep red.Craftsmanship is visible, lighting takes on a more architectural presence, and sculptural furniture has a personality of its own. Together, these observations point toward spaces that feel warmer, more expressive, and human.

Bringing designers and manufacturers from Europe and beyond together offers a broader perspective on where design is moving. For Daniel, the connections between craft, industry, materials, and technology are especially compelling, opening possibilities for new partnerships and upcoming projects.

As he puts it, it’s about understanding “what is changing, who is making it, and what new collaborations might come from it.”

This week, we’re inspired by the Home and Studio of Georgia O’Keeffe, one of the most influential American modernist artists of the 20th century, in Abiquiú, New Mexico. Known for her paintings of flowers, bones, and the landscapes of the American Southwest, O’Keeffe found much of her inspiration in the forms, colors, and vastness of the New Mexico desert. Her adobe home became both her residence and studio, and an extension of the way she observed and interpreted the landscape around her.

The architecture is quiet and elemental. Thick adobe walls, earthen surfaces, natural wood, and simple furnishings create a restrained palette shaped by the surrounding desert.

Courtyards frame views of sky and landscape, while shifting light and shadow bring depth and rhythm to the otherwise minimal spaces.

O’Keeffe’s approach to the home feels deeply connected to her work, an appreciation for natural form, texture, color, and the beauty found in simplicity. Indoors and out, the environment feels considered without feeling overly designed.

A reminder that inspiration often begins with place, and that the most enduring spaces can be those that allow their surroundings to lead.

Anna Danilova is stepping into the role of Studio Design Lead, Interiors & Brand at RoseBernard Studio.

Over time, Anna’s role has grown across the studio, from leading the design of our projects to shaping how we communicate our work with clarity and care. Her work across interiors and brand treats them as one connected system, linking how a place feels to how its story is told.

In this role, Anna will take on broader day-to-day design leadership: guiding project teams, mentoring staff, and holding our work to the standard we set for ourselves. She will also continue to lead RoseBernard’s brand and visual communications.

We look forward to seeing Anna continue to shape the studio and the work.
