We've been busying sowing the seeds of good intentions planted early during the pandemic. Together with Jody and Kristin, I had the responsibility of running and managing the of rebuilding our website. Any designer can surely appreciate the special joy of juggling the schedules of two busy Principals to get a project over the finish line: double the opinions and double the decision making! After many pivots, customizations, dedicated meetings, new headshots, new project photos, two new covid puppies, and layers of obsessive QC, we are VERY proud to finally launch our newly refreshed PritchardPeck Lighting website! Despite all of the uncertainty of the past months, yesterday the lighting community came together to highlight and celebrate the amazing teams of designers that continue to push the boundaries of lighting design all over the world. We are proud to represent San Francisco and for our project 160 Spear Street to win a 2020 IALD Award of Merit! We feel honored for the recognition, and genuinely lucky to be part of such a skilled team that includes IwamotoScott Architecture, Cupertino Electric, Inc., Skyline Construction, and Tishman Speyer.
We hope to continue creating cutting edge design that questions the true capability of light. Thank you to the IALD, our reps who tirelessly support us, product manufacturers who help support our vision by pushing technology, and all of our lighting peers.

EL PÍPILA WINS THE JAMES BEARD AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT DESIGN!

At last night's James Beard Awards in Chicago the restaurant world waited in anticipation for each category's winner to be announced. El Pípila was nominated for "Outstanding Restaurant Design: Other Eating and Drinking Places," and this was Neal Schwartz of Schwartz & Architecture's first restaurant project. Helping Guadalupe Guerrero and her daughters turn their dream into a reality was an honor; we were able to collaborate with a talented group of architects and designers to bring the concepts to reality. This win highlights a women-owned and operated family business and we couldn't be more proud to have been a part of it! Congratulations Neal, Guadalupe, La Cocina SF, and the entire team.

At this year’s Luxies we were surprised and humbled to win the Award of Excellence in Interior Lighting Design for our project 160 Spear. It’s an honor to be recognized amongst such talent. Thank you to the IES San Francisco chapter for this distinction!

The James Beard Foundation has released their 2019 award nominees, and we're humbled to have El Pípila, our collaboration project with Schwartz and Architecture, shortlisted for the "Outstanding Restaurant Design Award" category!
