Saga Interiors

Saga Interiors Saga Interiors combines colors, patterns, textures, textiles, the old, and the new to create a warm, functional , beautiful space.

Saga Interiors is a boutique residential and commercial design firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founder and Principal Designer Mahsa Afsharpour, draws from her Persian heritage, Scandinavian upbringing, and a profound love for the architecture and way of life in California to create functional spaces with understated elegance. Everybody wants to step through their front door and instant

ly feel relaxed and safe as if stepping into an entirely different realm separated from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Your home is the embodiment of your inspirations, joys, and dreams. A home has the potential to be an extension of who you are, encapsulating what truly matters to you in your personal sanctuary. A home should be every bit as special as the people who inhabit it, and my aspiration as an interior designer is to ignite and celebrate this uniqueness.

I’m an interior designer… of course I notice everything 👀
From the cloud couch making its rounds…
to the one designer piece trying to carry the entire room 👀
Here’s the truth,
a beautiful home isn’t about one “it” item or where everything is from.
It’s about how it all comes together.
Your home should feel like you, not like a showroom, not like a Pinterest board.
Of course I know what your space needs, when you’re ready 🤍

True or False… but make it interior design

Granite = maintenance free? False.
Lighting = just functional? False.
Mixing metals = illegal? Please.
Dark paint = tiny room energy? Also false.

At this point… you already know. Just call your girl for the real truth 😉

You’ve outgrown your space… you just haven’t updated it yet
The “it’s fine for now” energy?
It lingers longer than it should.

And before you know it, you’re living in a home that no longer reflects who you are, how you live, or what you’ve built 💔

Because here’s the truth. Your home should rise with you🤍

Not keep you stuck in a version of your life you’ve already moved past.

At Saga Interiors, we don’t just make things look beautiful,
we create spaces that support your life, your rhythm, and your next chapter🤍

If your space has been feeling a little off lately… this is your sign.

🤍Let’s make it feel like you again🤍

Save this for when you’re ready.
And if you’re ready now… you know where to find me🤍

April Moodboard and I’m not over this.
The Celine Miami Store!!! Designed by Valerio Olgiati and drenched in Pinta Verde Marble. Looks and feels out of this world !!!
Minimal. Powerful. Surreal 👀
Also… booking a flight to Miami as we speak.

You upgraded your life.Your home just… missed the flight.

At a certain point, it’s not about buying nicer things, it’s about not living like the old version of you anymore.

Your environment either rises to meet you…or subtly keeps you where you were.
If your life has evolved, your home should too

Things that are overrated in 2026 — Part 3
“Designer” furniture.
And a room full of designer labels
doesn’t equal good taste.
Tech Integrations that age fast;
Smart sinks.
Mirrors with 50 lighting settings.
I love innovation —
but I’ll take a beautiful sink
and a great mirror with proper sconces any day over something that will be outdated next year.

Some people window shop…
I texture test 👀
It’s all in the details.
Tell me you’re an interior designer… without telling me.
Honestly, you can’t bring me anywhere😉

Before & After…but what you don’t see is where the real work lives.
Every transformation like this is built on hundreds of tiny, intentional decisions.
From matching new flooring to existing architecture…to selecting the perfect palette for walls, ceilings, and trim…to refining lighting plans, millwork, and ceiling treatments—sometimes even adding or removing beams to completely shift the energy of a room.

It’s the layers you don’t immediately notice: the stone selection, the range hood detail, the cabinetry design, the hardware, the window treatments…and the careful selection of each piece of furniture and how it sits in conversation with the architecture and with one another.
None of it is accidental.None of it is effortless.
And yet… when it’s done right, it feels like it always belonged—seamless and natural.

That’s the power of thoughtful design; transforming a space to feel effortless, while being perfectly aligned with the way you live every day.
If you’re ready for your space to feel as effortless as these afters… we’d love to help you bring it to life.
