🥜 Cashew-Crusted Tofu Nuggets
Crunchy on the outside, tender inside—these tofu nuggets are coated in crushed cashews for a craveable texture and nutty richness.
🔹 Recipe: Cashew-Crusted Tofu Nuggets
📋 Ingredients:
1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
½ cup cashews, finely crushed
¼ cup breadcrumbs (panko works great)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper
2 tbsp olive oil or spray
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F.
Toss tofu cubes in cornstarch, then coat with cashew-breadcrumb mix.
Arrange on a lined baking sheet or air fryer basket.
Bake/air fry 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
Serve with sweet chili sauce or spicy mayo.
💡 Tip: Add smoked paprika to the crust mix for depth.
