WHO WE ARE

Sloan Miyasato is a multi-line wholesale showroom dedicated to providing distinctive residential and commercial furnishings to northern California’s vibrant interior design community. For more than 30 years we have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making our galleries a showplace for an unparalleled portfolio of international products that embody innovation, craftsmanship, and

style. We are equally passionate about exceeding the expectations of our clients at every turn by delivering an exceptional level of service that has become one of our hallmarks. OUR HISTORY

In 1978 Sloan Miyasato opened its first San Francisco Design Center (SFDC) showroom at the original Ice House complex. The founders were Asian antique collectors with an extraordinary eye for the unique, the original, and the refined. When SFDC relocated to its current South of Market area, Sloan Miyasato became the first permanent tenant at The Showplace. Over the years, the highest-caliber lighting, fabrics, furniture, fine art, accessories, and floorcoverings were added to the showroom—securing Sloan Miyasato's place among the elite wholesale sources at SFDC. For three decades Sloan Miyasato has kept its finger on the pulse of the interior design scene and forged lasting relationships with the most prestigious showrooms and artisans across the country—and the globe. As a result, we have been able to consistently offer local designers and architects the most inspiring, exciting, and finest-quality products on the market. We are also invested in being a valuable resource to the community by hosting guest lecture series featuring visionary designers and making our galleries available to Bay Area design students—the very future of industry.

Light above, weight below.

The Open Strap Coffee Table from pairs cast glass with antique steel, balancing translucence with a darker, more grounded frame. The glass shifts with the light while the base gives the piece its quiet sense of structure.

A study in contrast without excess.

Light, held like a precious object.

The new Equazione VI from pairs slender bronze arms with jewel-like clasps that cradle semi-precious quartzite. The contrast between delicate structure and luminous stone gives the piece a sculptural tension that feels both refined and unexpected.

More jewel than fixture.

A room designed around the art of doing nothing.

Bedding from brings softness, pattern, and a sense of ease to the bedroom, with designs made to feel personal rather than prescribed. Layered, tactile, and inviting, it turns the bed into the place you want to linger longest.

Consider this permission to stay awhile.

Jewelry, scaled for the room.

The new Ijsselmeer (6) Pendant Chandelier from pairs hand-carved rock crystal with antiqued bronze, bringing the precision of fine jewelry into a sculptural lighting form. Beveled and faceted details across the clasps and body catch the light from every angle, adding depth without excess.

A chandelier that feels cut, set, and composed.

Beautiful fabrics have to do more than sit still.

approaches textiles with real life in mind, pairing expressive color, tactile surfaces, and refined patterns with the performance needed for the spaces we actually live in. Some materials ask to be touched. Others ask to be studied.

Between Art and Materia from moves between the two, treating color, texture, and surface as elements of an artistic composition. Each textile brings its own gesture to the room, allowing fabric to become part of the visual language rather than simply its backdrop.

Material, with an artist’s point of view.

A silhouette that seems to move with the light.

Willow from is sensuous in form and quietly expressive, shaped with the fluidity of sculpture and the radiance of glass. Its curves catch the light differently from every angle, giving the piece an almost living presence.

A luminous form that refuses to fade into the background.

Stone, suspended in light.

The Ijsselmeer Pendant I from pairs hand-carved rock crystal with medium bronze, balancing raw mineral beauty with a more refined architectural frame. As the crystal catches the light, every natural variation becomes part of the composition.

Every angle changes the conversation.

The Flip Form Dining Table from brings the warmth of wood into balance with the precision of metal, while its sculptural base shifts in character as you move around it.

A table that never looks quite the same twice.
