‼️ UNPOPULAR OPINION: your body not making you cry is worse than crying.
Crying isn’t a sign that you’re falling apart. It’s a sign that your body still trusts itself enough to let something out.
What worries me more is when grief, anger, fear, or heartbreak have nowhere to go. It's when the tears stop because you’ve become numb and you feel like a pressure cooker with no release valve because the feelings don’t disappear. They settle deeper into the body, showing up as exhaustion, irritability, headaches, chest tightness, or a heaviness you can’t quite name. Trust me, been there myself.
Crying is uncomfortable. But then, numbness is quieter and silence doesn’t always mean peace. Sometimes, the tears are proof that your heart is still processing what your mind cannot yet carry. 💧🫀
