✨ PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY! ✨🎓💙

A HUGE thank you to Oso Grande Elementary for having me as Principal for the Day last week! What an incredible experience getting to see firsthand what makes this school so special! 🐻💙

From the amazing, dedicated staff to the incredible students, the energy, kindness, and school spirit were absolutely contagious! And Principal Acosta… WOW! 🙌 It’s easy to see the heart, leadership, and passion that go into making Oso Grande such a wonderful place for these kids to learn and grow. ❤️

I left feeling so inspired by this amazing school community and all the people who make a difference in these students’ lives every single day!

🏃‍♀️💙 BUT THE FUN ISN’T OVER! Oso Grande is still working hard to raise money for its Fun Run, and every donation makes a difference! If you’re able, please consider donating to support this incredible school, its students, and all the amazing things they do. Every little bit helps! 🙏✨

Thank you again, Oso Grande Oso Grande Elementary PTA Oso for letting me be part of the magic! What a day to remember! 💙🐻

From builder-basic to beautifully designed. ✨

This bathroom transformation is proof that the right materials, thoughtful details, and a little creativity can completely change a space.

We transformed this bathroom with a statement tile, custom cabinetry, warm wood tones, elevated fixtures, and layered lighting to create a space that feels both sophisticated and inviting.

But wait until you see where we started… 👀

A bathroom doesn’t have to be completely reconfigured to make a big impact. Sometimes, it’s all about making the right design choices.

A kitchen remodel should feel like it was always meant to be part of the home.

For this project, we redesigned the kitchen with the home’s mid-century character in mind, creating a space that feels fresh and functional while still honoring the architecture and original style.
Warm walnut cabinetry, clean lines, understated hardware, and organic textures bring a modern interpretation of mid-century design to the space. Every material and detail was thoughtfully selected to complement the rest of the home rather than compete with it.

The result is a kitchen that feels timeless, cohesive, and completely at home in its surroundings.

At Ocean Lane Interiors, we believe the best designs don’t just look beautiful; they feel like they belong. 🤍

The breakfast nook that makes you want to linger a little longer. ☕️

A beautiful dining space isn’t just about the table and chairs. It’s about creating a room that feels inviting, functional, and connected to the way you live.

For this Laguna Hills home, we layered custom millwork, natural woven shades, rich blue upholstery, classic dining chairs, and a statement chandelier to create a space that feels timeless while still being comfortable for everyday living.

The result is a bright, welcoming breakfast nook that feels equally perfect for a quiet morning coffee or gathering with family and friends.

At Ocean Lane Interiors, we believe the best interiors are beautiful and livable, designed around your lifestyle rather than simply following a trend.

Your office might be costing you your best employees. 👀

And it has nothing to do with salary.
Think about it.
Employees spend a huge portion of their lives at work.
So what does their work place environment say to them?

“Sit down. Get your work done. Go home.”
Or…
“We value you being here.”

That difference matters.

Great office design isn’t just about making a space look beautiful. It’s about creating an environment where people want to be.

When Ocean Lane Interiors designs for corporate workspaces, we think beyond the desk and chairs and think about how the employees use the space.

Where they collaborate.
Where they focus.
Where they take a break.
Where they have a private conversation.
And even where they can simply breathe for a minute.

Here are just a few ways your office design can support employee retention.

✨Create spaces for collaboration. ~ not every conversation needs to happen at a desk.

✨ Give employees a place to focus ~ Create a quiet place to reduce distractions and improve productivity.

✨Make comfort a priority. ~ Ergonomic furniture and proper lighting go a long way.

✨Bring in natural elements. ~ Natural light, plants, wood tones can make a workplace feel more inviting.

✨Design spaces people actually want to use. ~ A beautiful break room can encourage employees to step away, recharge and connect.

✨Reflect company culture. ~ Your office should feel like an extension of your brand not just a room filled with furniture.

Because employee retention starts long before someone decides to leave.

It starts with how they feel while they are there.

And that’s when good corporate design becomes more than just an aesthetic. It becomes a business strategy.

💬What’s one thing you would change about your workplace to make employees want to stay?

Sometimes a room doesn’t need a complete makeover, it just needs a few thoughtful details.

This family room went from bland and unfinished to warm, layered, and full of character with a few strategic changes. By introducing wall detail, adding depth through texture, and swapping out a handful of accessories, we were able to completely transform the feel of the space without starting from scratch.

The result is a room that feels more intentional, inviting, and reflective of the family who lives there.

✨ Sometimes the biggest transformations come from the smallest changes.

Thinking about refreshing a room in your home? Let’s talk about how a few well-chosen details can make all the difference.

Hi! 👋 If you’re new here, I wanted to introduce myself.

I’m Trisha, the owner and principal designer behind Ocean Lane Interiors. I help families create homes that are beautiful, functional, and designed around the way they truly live.

When I’m not selecting tile, sourcing furniture, or visiting job sites, you’ll usually find me enjoying the things that inspire me most: traveling, discovering beautiful spaces, spending time with my family, getting lost listening to a good book, finding the perfect cup of coffee, or cheering on my boys in the activities they love.

Design has always been about more than making a space look beautiful to me. It’s about creating homes where life happens, where families gather, where stories unfold, and where memories are made.

I feel incredibly grateful that my work allows me to connect with amazing clients and help bring their visions to life. Every home has a story, and I love being part of creating the backdrop for those moments.

A few fun facts about me:
✨ I recently celebrated my birthday with my dream trip to Europe.
📚 I love being part of a bookclub and have been in the same amazing group for almost 8 years!
🌊 I’m inspired by coastal living, timeless design, and spaces that feel collected and welcoming.
🧩 I am a competitive Speed Puzzler
🏒⛵ Our family weekends often include cheering from the sidelines, watching from the water, and making memories along the way.

I’d love to get to know you too! Tell me where you’re from and what room in your home you’d most love to transform. Welcome—I’m so happy you’re here!
