I got to reveal this commission as a 30th anniversary gift from a husband to his wife yesterday! It was a complete surprise for her and it was so wonderful.

The panel tells the story of their journey together beginning in Santa Cruz in the redwoods with their first home and transitions to the Central Coast, with Morro Rock, Avila Pier and the vineyards and oak trees of Paso Robles.

This piece measures 2.5 ft x 1.5 ft and will be framed in oak with an engraved plaque to commemorate their anniversary. Truly a unique gift and something I loved having the pleasure of making. Thank you Brett and Lori, and congratulations on 30 years!

It is install day for a matching pair of these dragon windows from a Chinese restaurant in Grover Beach. The repairs proved to be a little more complex once I got them out the trim and silicone, as is often the case with windows that are 40-50 years old! Should I share more behind the scenes repair content ?
