We were commissioned by Mrs. Kinne (coach's wife) to clean windows at the iconic Goodyear on Hopkins.

The old paint had baked on for years and really didn't want to come off. We convinced it to finally leave so that a football player's mother could paint new graphics. It looks awesome!!!

People often ask why we wash large windows in sections. If we wet a massive window all at once, the bottom starts drying before we can squeegee it.
Drying too quickly causes streaks, soap bubbles, and an unappealing finish.

We are out in Dripping Springs, Texas today washing windows on a beautiful home. A common question we get from clients is about the best weather conditions for window cleaning.
You might think a bright, hot, and sunny day is perfect, but it can make the job much harder. When it is incredibly hot outside, the cleaning solution dries on the glass almost instantly. This leads to stubborn streaks and water spots before we even have a chance to squeegee them away.
Today is an absolutely ideal day for us because the cooler temperatures keep the solution from drying off too fast, giving us the perfect amount of time to leave the glass completely spotless. If you are planning to wash your own windows, try to do it early in the morning or on an overcast day for the best results!

We are out in Dripping Springs today cleaning windows on a beautiful home and I bet you are wondering how we clean windows that have window tinting without damaging the film.
It's a great question! For the exterior glass, we can safely use steel wool to scrub away any tough dirt or grime, because the tint is applied to the inside of the window. However, when we move inside, we always switch to a softer, non-abrasive white scrub pad. Using steel wool on the interior would scratch and ruin the tint. We always take extra care to preserve your window film while making sure the glass is sparkling clean!

We often get asked about the toughest grime to clean off windows. You might think it is dirt, but it is actually hard water.
When lawn sprinklers splash onto glass, the water droplets calcify over time. This forms a solid, caked-on layer of minerals. Standard scrubbing and elbow grease simply will not budge this stubborn buildup.

The answer is absolutely! When it is hot outside, the heat dries the glass way too fast, which can leave streaks and make the job much harder. One of the questions we get asked the most when we are out cleaning windows is why we don't wash a whole large window at once. It's all about avoiding those annoying streaks!
When we are working on a large piece of glass, especially on a warm day, the cleaning solution can start to dry up before we finish. If we were to wet the entire window and try to squeegee it all at once, the bottom half would dry out by the time we got down there. That is exactly what causes streaks, dried soap bubbles, and water spots. To make sure your windows are perfectly clear, we clean them in sections—usually top half first, then bottom half. This keeps the glass wet enough to squeegee off all the soap and dirt for a flawless finish.
