Thank you to everyone who has come in to support Burns Florist.

I am endlessly grateful for the love, encouragement, and warm wishes you’ve shared with me as I walk through this cancer journey. Being back in the shop, seeing your faces, and feeling the support of this community has meant more than I can put into words.

Thank you for showing up for me, and thank you for continuing to show up for Burns Florist. You truly are the wind beneath my wings.

To our Burns Florist community,

For those who may have noticed reduced hours, occasional closures, or a slower response time, I wanted to share the reason personally.

Last December, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 head and neck cancer.

Since then, I have been navigating treatment at UCSF while also doing my best to keep Burns Florist going with the help of my trusted team. This shop has been such a big part of my life, and this community has meant so much to me over the years, which is why it felt important to be honest about what has been happening behind the scenes.

Burns Florist is still here, and we are doing everything we can to continue serving our customers during this time. I am deeply grateful for the patience, kindness, and support that so many of you have already shown.

I have created a GoFundMe to help with the overwhelming cost of treatment, insurance, travel, and the reality of stepping back from work while focusing on healing.

If you would like to donate or share, it would mean more than I can say. And even if all you can offer is patience, understanding, and support for the shop during this time, I am incredibly thankful.
