This stone is doing a lot, and I mean that as a compliment.

Pair it with traditional cabinetry and let the contrast get weird. Or keep everything else super clean and let the stone completely take over.

I’d build the room around this one.

There’s more that goes into any one area of a home than most people realize.

Grout samples pulled side by side until one made the pattern pop. A dry-fit layout on the floor before anyone opened a bag of adhesive. A drawing precise enough it’s basically idiot-proof (not that our installers need it, they’re ballers).

Most people design around who they are right now.

I can’t stop thinking about who they’re trying to become.

A chair you actually sit in. A table you actually stay at. Small stuff, but do it for a year and it’s not small anymore.

A little mystery never hurt anybody.

Give the house something it doesn’t show on the first date.

A 10-minute shower and a 30-minute shower are two very different design problems.

That’s why we ask.
