Grandma came to visit today, and let’s just say… she walked straight into absolute farm chaos. 😂🌱

Tables covered in clippings, jars taking over every counter, soil on the floor, water everywhere, and enough propagations to make a plant lover lose their mind. It was officially a propagation EXPLOSION at Fanelli Farms today.

Between repotting succulents, starting new babies, organizing planters, and prepping inventory for our event in Kiefer this Saturday, this house turned into a full blown plant lab. 🪴💚

Honestly though? These are the days I love most. Family visiting, plants thriving, hands dirty, and the farm staying busy. Grandma even got to witness the madness firsthand. 😂

The job definitely isn’t done yet… but it’s getting there. 😅 One jar, one clipping, and one pile of dirt at a time.

Now we’re winding down the evening with a glass of wine before bed, admiring the chaos and calling it progress. 🍷🌿

Now excuse me while I try to figure out where all these jars are supposed to go. 👀🫠

These babies are growing fast, eating us out of house and home, and are officially accepting applications for new snack providers and mud pit managers.

They spend their days causing chaos, rooting up the place, and acting like they personally pay the farm bills. Unfortunately for them… we’re officially running out of room on the farm, so it’s time for these little freeloaders to pack their bags and move on down the road. 😂

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot more time slowing down and soaking in the little moments with my family… and honestly, it’s been healing parts of me I didn’t even realize still hurt. ❤️

Nobody really knows this, but I secretly LOVE to cook and bake. Growing up, my mom raised me in the kitchen. She taught me all her little cooking secrets while music played in the background, dancing around between pots and pans. Those are some of the memories I hold closest to my heart.

When she passed away in 2017, I lost my spark in the kitchen. Cooking started feeling more like a chore than joy. I dreaded trying to figure out what to make for the 5 millionth time, and somewhere along the way, I stopped creating meals with love the way I used to.

But over the last few months… something has been changing. ❤️

I’ve found myself getting excited again. Excited to try new recipes. Excited to see which meals my boys will love. Excited to stay up too late baking cookies or putting together little movie night snacks just because I can.

It may seem small to some people, but for me, this feels huge. Like little pieces of myself are finally coming back home.

Slowly healing one day at a time.

Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day, Mom. I love you so much — always and forever. 🤍
