Inside you’ll find something for every room in the house, for every season! MJ & Crew began its humble roots in the midwestern town of Sandwich, IL, the hometown to Tim and Michelle Johnson where they raised their four adult children. Tim has been a high school history teacher and Michelle a hairstylist for over 30 years. Five years ago, Michelle decided to turn her naturally creative skillset int

o a new business venture, MJ & Crew. What started as sewing and hand-painting custom pillows from her own home, quickly turned into hosting painted pillow workshops and monthly vendor booths at artisan markets. Michelle’s passion for pillows not only inspired her to take her talents on the road but to become more involved in her local community as well. Michelle, better known as “MJ,” now owns Crew and Co., a full-stop shop for modern country design, and runs the Sunday at Sandwich vintage and handmade market from May to October on the Sandwich Fair Grounds. With the help of her “crew,” consisting of her helpful husband and business partner Tim, four amazing children, and dear friends, and family, Michelle is able to help others find new treasures, fun gifts, and unique ways to express their own creativity.
