White Hill Woodworks Fully custom, hand crafted wood products White Hill Wood Works is the true meaning of a small family business.

Located on his family property in Lee County, owner and operator, Neil Ambrose built his company literally by hand. With some help from his wife, supervision by his brother-in-law, and encouragement from his sons, Neil started with a stack of wood and built dream job from the ground up. Neil uses locally sourced materials straight from Central Carolina ranging from knotty pine from (BUSINESS), bea

utiful oak, cedar and walnut from (business) to perfectly aged barn wood from an actual farm in Harnett County. Neil prides himself on staying close to his North Carolina roots but allows just a touch of California influence from his in-laws in each piece White Hill Wood Works creates. The detail and time put into each project, no matter the size, is driven by passion and fueled by family. Whether you’re looking to improve your outdoor living space, want to add a stunning accent piece to your home or want to give a special gift, contact Neil at White Hill Wood Works to help craft your ideas into wooden works of art. About us page:
Neil Ambrose rekindled (pun intended) his passion for wood working after dedicating himself to his community and country for over 3 decades. With 25 years of Law Enforcement service and retiring from the military, Neil and his wife, Correna decided to lay down roots in Lee County where they built their dream home. Growing up surrounded by construction, Neil learned the art of wood working by building home additions. Attention to detail has been a reoccurring theme throughout his career where he grew to love the fine details of wood working. Neil had been making wooden flags for friends and building furniture for his home. Recognizing his talent, Correna and their family began encouraging Neil to share his gifts with other people. Neil built his work shop by hand on the family property which is fitting for him. Guided by his Faith, Family and closest Friends, Neil decided to take the leap of faith and opened White Hill Wood Works. When you become a customer of Neil’s, you leave with a one-of-a-kind piece and gain a best friend. He is enthusiastic about every piece of wood that comes into his shop knowing that it will leave curated exactly to his customer’s request. As his business grows, so will his excitement about different stain colors, new techniques and the value of every wood grain the tree has to offer. Turning your ideas into works of art is what Neil excels at. He offers great insight and is excited for every opportunity to create something personalized for his customer. Neil’s passion for creating projects makes it easy to explain what you are looking for as he brings it to life. As you walk into Neil’s shop, you will see the foundation of his business in action. Wood planks and pieces fill every corner, his brother-in-law Jaris will make an appearance requesting Mountain Dew and a hug and the dogs will let you know they are hard workers too

This is the bottom side of a customer’s table. Every build seems different in so many ways to me. I keep saying “this is one of my favorites”. I honestly think that they are all because they all have been different. This one has a first time touch to it as the legs have a unique feature.

This build was designed to be a hunting stand for a great customer. I honestly think it’s a Airbnb for hunters.
