So tomorrow is DTSA Artwalk and oh man, do we got it going on.

I addition to our regular
Vendor areas, we got and the Making Your Own Magic art exhibit at Artist Village.

At Calle Cuatro Plaza, you'll find the first Let's Roll OC! event hosted by with a special activity by , and of course dancing on the plaza.

All this mixed with live entertainment curated by ? Local galleries open to the public? It's gonna look and sound amazing.

I've been trying to find the perfect mini flower crochet pattern for gifts and I love this one. I love that you can put this on your table or desk as decor, or put a keychain on it! I could even see putting a long cord on it to hang off the rear view mirror.

I've been looking for more functional crochet. And this fits! It also looks very cute on my 30oz tumbler.

These cuties have been a work in progress for the past month. I think it took a combined 30 hours to finish both of them. They were a surprise for my kids, so I worked on them every night after they went to bed.

It took me a bit to find the exact patterns I liked. I wanted the plushies to have decent sized limbs for playing with, the dragon to have large wings, and for the size to be huggable.

The colors also had to be perfect. So Lucy is all about pink. So her tiger is pink on pink with glitter pink eyes. Hugo's dragon is blue on blue with green eyes, inspired by Sonic, of course.

Would I make these again? Probably not lol. They were the definition of a labor of love.

Hello!

It's been a while but I'm still crocheting! Today I made this cute little headband using some "Favorite Stripe" yarn and my favorite 5mm hook.

My tiny model has requested her own headband after trying mine on. Probably needs a smaller size though.

I'm trying to find some hot weather accessories, cus this heat aing going away here in Southern California.

Next event is DTSA Artwalk on April 4th and then Second Saturdays at .lb on April 11th!

Last night's artwalk was a success!

We had a very windy (windyful?) afternoon, but it thankfully calmed down as the sun set. I kept my setup close to the table to avoid anything falling and it worked great.

It was so nice meeting new people!

Hope to be able to set up again soon. Might do a story sale for the yarn babies that didn't find a home.

I did sell out of angry bananas and strawberries. And only have a couple leggy frogs left. Gotta make more of those!

This Saturday!

DTSA Artwalk is ready to celebrate Spring!

Make sure to visit Artist Village and the Sycamore Street closure for live music, outdoor art exhibits, crafting tables for all ages and over 40 vendors to browse!

Earlier in the day, come support local young talent as comes alive for their 10th annual celebration all around downtown.

Visit on Fourth Street for a special photo op and more vendors!

Later in the night you can dance with at Calle Cuatro Plaza! A free outdoor dancing event.
