A lot of times people think interior design is easy or something they can just figure out along the way. Then construction starts and suddenly there are hundreds of decisions being made daily. Materials, layouts, lighting, cabinetry, elevations, finishes, timelines. Most people don’t realize how overwhelming it becomes until they’re deep in the process trying to make decisions they were never meant to navigate alone.

A fireplace that immediately sets the tone for the home. This two sided fireplace became the heart of this great room in our project. It blends clean luxury and warmth in a way that feels almost effortless. Backlit Cristallo Vitrum quartzite paired with a geometric wood tile created the perfect balance of elegance and comfort in this space, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

And honestly…forget the TV. We’d just sit here staring at this fireplace all night. 🤍 Swipe to the end to see it fully lit up, this one deserves its own moment.

One of the questions we get asked most often is how the relationship between the designer, builder, architect, and client actually works during a luxury custom home project. The truth is there’s no one size fits all approach. Every home is different and every collaboration takes shape in its own way.
