Back at the office. It’s been a mixed bag around here. On the one hand I had a wonderful visit with my mom and sister in Illinois, on the other hand my 14yr old German Shepherd and my 17yr old cat both had to be put down in the span of a couple of weeks. Heartbreaking. You can’t have life without death and you can’t have love without loss. It’s worth it.

I had a fun day with my designer friends at the showcase. If you haven’t seen it yet, you must go. It might be one of my favorites. There are so many talented designers, craftspeople and artisans in our area. 💖

When I met Eva a few years ago at another design firm, I knew we’d be a team again one day. Now that she’s here, I couldn't be happier! She’s the stripes to my polka dots—great solo, but better together.
