WOW!!!
Just when you think you've seen it all, someone comes in with something you've never even imagined, let alone seen!!
Our long time customer, Eric, just made this backpack, with no hardware at all. Only leather!
And then he did this sample of tie dyeing leather that is just exquisite.
I asked him if he could do a whole hide like this. Can you imagine?!?! He didn't say no.

I've seen a lot of leather projects in my time, but this was a new one on me!!!

A leather duck!!!
Hand shaped, hand laced and handed to me as a gift from our friend Dean, at Cypress Leather, in town.
Just look at the quality of the work. It's definitely all it's quacked up to be.

Hi everyone.
This post is a request for help.
We have many requests for tailoring of leather items and it turns out Santa Cruz has a lack of businesses that do that kind of work.
Does anyone know of someone or some business that does tailoring work on leather, so we have places to send our many customers who need that kind of work done?

I got a wild hair today, 'cause why not?!

After 35 years of making these, I apparently have a superpower.
I can just about make our Kidmocs with my eyes closed and deep in REM sleep.
I just made these from veg tanned leather, for a couple with an adorable little boy.
On the other hand, my hands let me know that I'm glad I don't make them all the time, like we used to.
Know what I mean?

I'm part of a game playing gang and we needed a drawstring bag for the tiles in our Rummikub game.
